Return and Exchange Policy for BINNI

 

At BINNI, we strive to ensure your shopping experience is seamless and satisfactory. Please read our detailed Return and Exchange Policy to understand the process and terms.


Initiating a Return or Exchange

  • 3-day Reporting Window: All return or exchange requests must be reported within 3 days (72 hours) of delivery. This strict timeline helps us prevent misuse of our policy and ensures fairness for all customers.
  • How to Process a Request: You can now easily process your return or exchange directly through our website. If your item falls within the 72-hour window, follow these steps:

Terms of Returns/Exchanges

BINNI will cover all costs, including reverse shipping, for returns or exchanges under the following conditions:

  • The product received is damaged or defective during transit.
  • The delivered goods do not match the order placed (please refer to the disclaimer below).

For Other Reasons: If the return/exchange is for reasons other than those listed above, ₹150 will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be credited to your account in the form of store credits, which can be used for future orders.

 

Note on Made-to-Order Products: Most of our jewellery is freshly made to order. For such designs, we offer exchanges only (no refunds), either for the same product or an alternate item. Our WhatsApp team can assist by providing actual images of the exchanged product upon request—feel free to reach out!


Mandatory Unboxing Video for Damaged Product Claims

To claim a return for a damaged or defective product, an unboxing video is mandatory. The video must:

  • Be clear and show the unopened parcel being opened for the first time.
  • Capture the condition of the product as received.

Important: In the absence of a valid unboxing video, returns for damaged products will not be accepted. We kindly request customers not to negotiate on this requirement, as it ensures transparency and fairness in processing claims. Your cooperation helps us maintain the integrity of our return process.


Guidelines for a Valid Return/Exchange

  • Packaging: Securely pack the product for return, ensuring it is in its original condition. Notify us to arrange a pick-up through our logistic partner.
  • Label Tags: If the returned item has cut or broken label tags, a 20% restocking and repair charge will be deducted from the refund/exchange value.
  • Handcrafted Products: Please note that minor shade differences in color or design may occur due to the handcrafted nature of our products. We request your understanding and consideration in such cases.
  • Replacement Process: For a qualified exchange, we’ll ship the replacement immediately. If the replacement item is unavailable (likely for made-to-order products), we’ll assist you in choosing an alternate item. We promise to go the extra mile to ensure you’re delighted with the exchange, or we’ll find a mutually agreeable solution.

Order Cancellation

  • From Customer’s End: You may cancel your order anytime before it is shipped. Once the order is shipped and out for delivery, we regret that cancellations cannot be processed. Please contact us at support@binniswardrobe.com if you need assistance.
  • From BINNI’s End: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion for reasons such as inventory issues or other constraints. If we cancel your order, you will be promptly notified, and any charged amount will be reversed to your credit/debit card or bank account within 5-6 working days.

Refunds / Exchanges

We aim to deliver the right product to enhance your experience with BINNI. However, if you choose to postpone your purchase and opt for a refund, here’s the process:

 

  • Refund Initiation: After we receive and verify the returned item, the refund process will begin within 24-48 working hours. Incase reverse shipping is not available at your pin code, you will need to self-ship the items to us. A maximum of 150 will be refunded for self ship charges. 
  • Kindly allow us time to receive your parcel back for verification. Usally done within a week however it may take 10-15 days or more for your parcel to travel back to us.  
  • Exchange :
  • If exchanging for an item of higher value, the difference must be paid; if the item is of lower value, the difference will be refunded in the form of store credit.
  • Items cannot be exchanged for multiple products; only a single item can be selected for exchange.
  • Shipping and Restocking Adjustments:
    • For exchanges, INR 100/- will be adjusted against reverse shipping costs, and as an attempt towards client satisfaction BINNI will bear the forward shipping cost for the replacement item.
    • For returns/refunds, shipping & COD charges up to max of INR 200 will be credited as BINNI credits  to your store account and the balance will be refunded to the source account.
    • For higher-value orders with multiple items, deductions per item may be higher, determined at BINNI’s discretion. BINNI reserves the right to decide the final deduction value.
  • Refund Methods:
    • For digital payments: Refunds will be remitted to the same account used for payment. The amount typically reflects within 48 hours, though bank processing may take 5-6 working days.
    • For cash-on-delivery orders: Refunds will be processed via a refund link shared with you, using the account details you provide. Note: The refund link expires after 2 weeks, and refunds cannot be processed after expiry.
    • For order value above 5000 refunds will only be in the form BINNI store credit.  Store credits cannot be encashed.  

Disclaimer

  • Please double-check your order details (e.g., design, size, or color) before confirming, as “goods not matching the order” claims are subject to verification against your order confirmation.
  • We kindly seek your understanding if embellishments or findings loosen during transit, requiring a minor hand fix without specialized tools.
  • BINNI cannot be held responsible for issues arising from unintended care, handling, or failure to adhere to the return guidelines.
